FAQs

We get it — property development can be confusing.

We’re often asked the same set of questions. So, to help you feel confident in choosing Genesis and starting a partnership with us, here are the answers.

Of course, we encourage you to get in touch so we can personally walk you through any concerns. We’ll also discuss your specific property development goals, needs, priorities, constraints, and more. In the meantime, we hope these help…

  • How do I invest with you?

If you have dormant funds, you can invest in property development as a Genesis partner. We’ll do our research to find a suitable property development opportunity, then combine our funds (along with other contributors if applicable) to purchase it and turn it into sustainable a financial return. This might be a lump sum or ongoing passive income, depending on our agreement.

That’s essentially it in a nutshell. If you’re interested in investing with us, get in touch so we can give you all the details in person.

  • How do I know my funds are secure?

The main reason people enjoy partnering with Genesis is because they know we only work in true partnerships. In this case, it means we financially invest in each property development project we take on — and we simply don’t take them on unless they’re going to yield a return later. We’ve got skin in the game, just like you, and it’s that peace of mind that lets our partners know their funds are secure.

  • If you’re subdividing or developing land I live on, do I have to move out?

More often than not, no. You can continue your everyday routine because we usually work in acreages where your main residence will most likely remain undisturbed. However, we’ll let you know if this won’t be the case with your specific property development project.

  • If you’re renovating my home while I’m living in it, do I have to move out?

If you’re engaging us to maximise the sale of your home, and large-scale renovations are a part of that, you most likely will have to move out while we complete these works. Again, this will be discussed with you in detail — sometimes, we’re able to work around your living arrangements and you can continue living in your home with minimal disruptions. It all depends on what your project looks like.

  • Do you do construction?

Although our history is grounded in design and construction, this is no longer a service we offer, as we exculsively focus on property development now.

  • How can I keep up with the progress of my property development project?

We will send out regular reports as notable steps are taken in the progression of the project.
